3 floor stacker#1131

?

3rd layer - top input
2nd layer - bot input
1st layer - output

basicly a stacker that has 3 layers so that you can have both inputs and output on the same side

Would trivialize too much of the challenge of having to make a modular design, hard disagree. More stacker variations could be cool though, like one belt from either side on different layers

I don’t think it would be a problem if it could be unlocked after trains for example. By that time you should already have blueprints for these basic stacks and this could be cool way to let players optimise theyr factory even further. And all this machine would do is that you trade ability to over stackers for the thinner design.

It would make any advanced designs with stacking a lot more simplistic. Optimizing isn’t the only aspect of this game; cool and intricate factory designs are important to the experience.

The proposed 3 floor stacker can just be done by putting two stackers in series. It’d only save 1 tile.

3 floor normal stacker would be a good alternate version for a hard mode (eg floor 3 input stacks onto floor 1 input, and that’s it).

Interesting how this affects crystals. Thematically it is the falling that breaks the crystal. If both shapes start off the ground, then do crystals on both shapes break?

Really good ideal . That would be a good tradeoff.
