Big Miner Platform#2358

Purchasable 1x2 Miner Platform with up to 10 Extensions, for a total 12 tiles to fill one conveyor. It fits perfectly (attached pic).
Currently it’s the most tedious part of the game - to place miners.

I disagree that the miners are the tedious part, just make a blueprint

This is a month old, but I would like to add that blueprints don’t solve everything. Gathering isn’t the hard part, maximizing is.

There are very large resource patches where it’s impossible to use 100% of the resources because there’s not enough surface area to mine from.

Big miners would allow much deeper mining for patches up to size 24xN.

Big miners would also open the door for more complex miners.

Right now a 1x1 can be used to create a few different types of miners.

With 4x the space, who knows what you could accomplish.
