Hi,
Please make a setup like:
-<-SsSsSUU-<-
(
S=stop
s=spacer
U=unloader
)
unload the first 2 wagons, advance to next adjacent station, unload 3rd+4th wagon, advance to next adjacent station and unload 5th+6th wagon!
Even with transfer stations it’s not possible to repack from long to chunked trains anymore because you can’t fit the stations in-between - without tons of unneccesary spacer wagons (which aren’t even free!!!) and huge space. Plus that would add a ton of unnessessary trains that would bog down performance for naught.
(also big thumbs down for having to purchase spacer stations in the first place!!!)
It’s a HUGE REGRESSION in train playability and enjoyment of finding clever solutions from EA :-(
The leading “empty” stations could be their own type, e.g. “Sub-Station”, to signal intent if you’re worried about players inadvertently unloading something from further back.
Also, need curved station spacers (I opened another post for that already)!
thanks

@schafan yes i totaly agree the Spacer stations are annoying
i used to place loaders /unloaders around cornors
so a platform that has inputs at 90 degrees to each other can be serviced by on train stop without extra space belts etc.
the train has wagons on 3 sides of a platform 2 unloaders and a loader
for example
