
Trains feel like higher throughput versions of belts. A concept where trains could interact with logic signals for automation of pathing like Factorio would benefit this game far more than that system works in that game. Examples of this would be reading contents of the train, making pathing decisions via logic signals, or disabling stations. This game gives incredible freedom and it feels like a waste to have trains just be a cheaper higher throughput version of a belt.
