Station spacers are unintuitive, and it’s not obvious you need them at all unless you read the codex. It would be great if there was some visual indication on a stop/loader/unloader that wasn’t connected to anything. It could be a visual warning kind of like how the existing conflict indicators work when you have a disconnected belt for example, and could even say that it’s not connected or a station spacer is required.

Yes! I absolutely agree. I mentioned it a little in my bug report but I want this too.

I want the station spacers to go away like it was before 1.0 so that you can set a stop and align the wagons and the like you could before you needed the spacers … that is to say … loader cornor and unloader in a L is still a valid stop … a long train with spacer wagons lines up with 8 to 10 different locations with open spaces inbetween
this is especially useful if you have some smaller length trains and the wagon to wagon loader/unloader units …
I used to have a long train that the 1st wagon was the shapes and the 2nd wagon was the color for each shape … send that on to a work train that feeds colour platforms … next group on long train wagon holds source CuRuSu next wagon Wu – – next wagon -r -g -b deliver to mixing next wagon source for -c -m -y etc …. the long transport train covers the longer distances and then uses Loader-Unloader or newer wagon to wangon transfer unit
the Spacers required for the new 1.0 station/stops to work just causes lots of issues in using the same line for a long train and some shorter ones … all my old stuff got deleted as they got incompatable between upgrades and i lost access to them
