Firstly, I’d like to say I had a blast playing the new 1.0 classic mode. However, while it was fun unlocking things incrementally in my playthrough before 1.0, this time around it was completely trivialized by the rewards from operator levels. I had barely completed 10 jobs and they became completely obsolete, because in the time it would take to complete a job, I’d earn 10x the research credits just by the factory running in the background. Factory capacity was briefly an issue, but balooned very quickly after the first milestone.
+1 for this, classic mode platform capacity and research credits are way too easy to get, the current setting fits more some form of “relaxed” or sandbox mode
