When assembling production lines of space platforms, it can be difficult to keep track of what shape a platform is taking in without zooming in all the way to machine mode. Displays and belt readers work a little bit into space mode but still stop being visible if zoomed out any further. If platforms can get an icon to show what shape is being accepted in, it would smooth bugfixing without needing to be constantly zooming in and out.
