why do space pipes hold more fluid than inough for 4 platforms

The main thing, in my opinion, is it helps get paint out of Asteroids because we can have one long pipe collecting paint from many Asteroid Pumps. Instead of treating each asteroid like a puzzle to solve, which is annoying.

It helps fill train loaders faster.

It helps when bringing paint for crystalizing which requires a whole lot of paint.

fluid mechanics are still sort of wierd to me in the way it works but oh well
