Upgrade Idea#3604

It would be nice to have an update on de Lift to second an 3rd floor. A lift, where it it possible to go under and up. 1st Floor forward and every second piece goes up withput loosing the firstfloor line. Same as for de 3rd floor.

So up… then under, but like along the ceiling of the first floor, then up and through? They’d have to rewrite the entire game code to make extra space then so the belts would not collide.

Not impossible. But tedious. May be a more efficient way to accomplish a work around.

Also a nice idea, but not what i meant. Sorry for my english…not my mothertounge:)

Okay gotcha! Yes!! That would be great. I would love this as well. Much better description with the drawing. A splitter would work like in satisfactory someone made a mod that splits one incoming belt into four. 3 go left, right, forward. And then one goes up. Only problem is it reduces the number of items coming out even if just doing it your suggested way. So you’d have to replenish the decreased number of items with another belt after the split, by merging another belt into it to keep production numbers maxed.

Not impossible though! Mini splitters for the win!

Yes, that’s how i meant it. And yes, you “loose” an item per line. One has to be creative to add one again;).

this is similar to the #1148 request that belts shouldn’t allow for this behaviour

I’d definitly like something like this where if its implimented I would like to see at least 2 versions

• input on 1 output on 2 and 3
• input on 3 output on 2 and 1

better yet … add these as well

• input on 2 and 3 output on 1
• input on 1 and 2 output on 3

They have those lots in industry (i’ve worked in factories that have that
