the pipe T connection but you can connect from a lower or higher level without needing to offset to change level.

Yes, a vertical T is absolutely needed. I’ve just unlocked pipes, but the lack of a vertical T was disappointing.

cannot agree more, this missing feature looks almost like a bug

please also consider any vertical branching connection, not only T shapes if possible!

I put this game down shortly after launch because it desperately needs this feature and i am not going to consider playing it again until this is implemented.
